MH Lake Norman, LLC ("MH Lake Norman", "we", "us", or "our") operates the consumer brands NC Massage School and Massage Heights Jetton Village (each a trade name / DBA of MH Lake Norman, LLC). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites and to the services our brands provide.
1. Information we collect
- Contact & identity information you provide — name, email address, mobile/phone number, mailing address, and similar details.
- Student / customer records relevant to the service — for NC Massage School this includes admissions, enrollment, attendance, and educational records; for Massage Heights Jetton Village this includes appointment and membership details.
- Communications — messages you send us and your preferences, including SMS opt-in/opt-out status.
- Usage data — basic, aggregated website analytics.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, administer, and improve our services.
- To communicate with you about your account, enrollment, appointments, scheduling, and support.
- To send text messages you have opted in to receive (see SMS section below).
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our services:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract (for example, our messaging, email, hosting, and payment providers).
- Text messaging: if you opt in to text messages, we use a third-party messaging provider to deliver SMS to the mobile number you provide. The provider processes your number solely to deliver those messages on our behalf.
- Legal and regulatory requirements when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
No mobile information — including SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Text messaging (SMS) consent
Our brands offer optional text messaging. For example, if you opt in (such as during NC Massage School registration or when you provide your number and agree), we use a third-party messaging provider to send service messages — account, enrollment, attendance, scheduling, appointment, and related notifications — to the mobile number you provide.
- Consent is optional and is not a condition of enrollment, purchase, or service.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Your mobile/SMS opt-in consent and phone number are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accreditation, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. You can opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP) and opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults (and prospective students). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
