Messaging & SMS Terms

These terms describe the text-messaging (SMS) program operated by MH Lake Norman, LLC for its brands. The program is currently used by NC Massage School to communicate with students and applicants who opt in.

Program description

NC Massage School (a DBA of MH Lake Norman, LLC) sends account and operational text messages — for example enrollment and admissions updates, attendance and scheduling notifications, and support replies — to individuals who provide their mobile number and consent to receive texts.

How you opt in

Opt-in is express and optional. You consent to receive text messages by affirmatively opting in — for example, by checking the SMS consent box and providing your mobile number during NC Massage School registration, or by otherwise giving us your number and agreeing to be texted. SMS consent is not a condition of enrollment, purchase, or any service.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the notifications relevant to you.

Cost

We do not charge for the messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt out (STOP) and help (HELP)

• Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages, unless you opt in again.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at admin@mhlakenorman.com or 704-459-1440.

Carriers

Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers may change without notice.

Privacy

No mobile information — including SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use a third-party messaging provider solely to deliver messages on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy.
